Getting started

Computer Innovation Technology Ltd (CIT) provides practical ICT training, internship opportunities and technology services. Use the Services page to explore available areas and the Apply page to submit an internship application.

CIT is located at Kwa Gahiza, along the Kigali–Kayonza Road, Muhazi Sector, Rwamagana, Rwanda. The homepage includes a location map and contact details.

You can use the phone and email shown in the website header/footer. The Contact & Location section on the homepage also provides CIT contact details and the map.

Open Services & Training Areas to view all active services. Each service can be opened to see its detailed internship/training options.

Open Training Videos to browse available videos. Select a video card to open its individual player and description.

The Announcements page contains current platform and training updates published by CIT.

The homepage has a dedicated Company News rail on the right side of the updates section. Cards move from bottom to top and can open a published link when CIT staff attach one.

Open Jobs & Opportunities to see available vacancies and opportunities published on the platform.

Account & login

No separate registration step is required. If you are a new student, the internship application form creates your student account while you apply.

Open Sign in and use your registered email and password. Existing legacy staff usernames remain accepted for backward compatibility.

Open Reset Password, enter the email registered on your account, and the platform will email you a one-time reset link that expires in 15 minutes. Your current password remains unchanged until the link is used.

Check Spam/Junk first and confirm that you entered the same email registered on your account. Wait briefly and try again. If it still does not arrive, contact CIT support so staff can verify the account email and mail configuration.

Password reset links are single-use and expire after 15 minutes. The platform stores only a hash of the reset token, and your current password is not replaced until you successfully choose a new one.

Sign in, open My Profile, update the allowed information and save your changes.

Use the Logout button in the navigation or dashboard. Always log out when using a shared computer.

Internship application

Open Apply for Internship, choose an active internship field, complete your personal and study information, review the application and tuition fees, pay the application fee using the active payment method when required, upload proof, accept the non-refundable fee notice and submit.

The application asks only for necessary details: first and last name, email and password for a new account, phone, district, school/university, level of study, internship field, your starting date and ending date, and payment proof when an application fee is required. It does not ask for National ID, gender, parent names or an application profile photo.

On the internship form, select the district where your institution is located. The School / University list then loads the active TSS/VTC schools registered for that district. Select your school and continue the application.

Select the district where your institution is located, then choose “Other / University / non-TSS institution” in the school list. A field will appear for you to type the full institution name.

Yes. If you already have a student account, sign in first and use the internship application page. The platform links the new application to your existing account where allowed.

The application form lists active internship fields under CIT services. Select the field that matches your learning objective; its application fee and tuition fee are displayed before submission.

Yes. CIT internships do not assign fixed dates in advance. The applicant specifies the starting date and ending date directly on the application form.

Pending means the application is still under review or waiting for a required step such as payment verification. Check your Applications/Dashboard for the latest status.

Approved means authorized staff accepted your internship application after the required checks, including payment verification when an application fee applies.

Rejected means the application was not accepted. Review any available note/status information and contact CIT if you need clarification. A rejected payment proof is different: it can be replaced with a corrected proof.

Completed means the internship/training record has been marked complete by authorized staff. Eligible completed records may have a certificate available.

Fees & payment

No. The platform clearly informs applicants that the internship application fee is non-refundable. You must accept this condition before submitting a paid application.

Tuition fees are paid during the first week of your studies/training. The application fee is separate and is paid during application when the selected internship requires it.

The application fee is set separately for each internship field by authorized staff. Select a field on the Apply page to see the exact application fee before submitting.

Tuition is set for each internship/training field. Select the field on the application form to see the tuition amount. Tuition is paid during the first week of studies/training.

The platform supports MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Bank BK and Bank BPR. Authorized staff activate one payment method at a time and publish its current account details.

Open Payment Information or the internship application page. Only the currently active method and its account details should be used for a new payment.

Payment proof can be uploaded as JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP or PDF, with a maximum size of 5 MB.

Payment proof allows authorized staff to verify that the non-refundable application fee was paid to the active CIT account before the application is approved.

Pending payment means your proof has been submitted but has not yet been verified by authorized staff. Your application remains under review until the payment check is completed.

Verified means authorized staff accepted the submitted payment proof. The application can then proceed to the approval decision.

Sign in and open your Applications. For a rejected proof, use the Resubmit Proof option to upload a corrected JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF. The new proof returns to Pending for verification.

No. Payment proofs are stored in protected storage and are served through an authenticated permission check. They are available only to the student who owns the application and authorized staff.

Status & records

Sign in and open your Applications/Dashboard. The chatbot can also show the latest application/payment status when you are signed in.

The application reference is the unique reference assigned to your internship application. Keep it when communicating with CIT about that application.

The Current Trainees page is available only to logged-in users. Sign in first, then open Trainees.

Open the Alumni/Completed Trainings page to see available completed training records published by CIT.

Certificates

Certificates are associated with eligible completed training/internship records. Sign in and check your application/completion record. If a certificate has been issued, use its certificate link to view or print it.

Use the certificate verification link/token printed or encoded on the certificate. The verification page confirms whether the certificate token exists and is valid.

Technical help

Public record IDs are protected using encrypted tokens. A link may become invalid if it was copied incompletely or if the site encryption key changed. Return to the list page and open the record again to generate a fresh valid link.

Return to the homepage and use the current navigation link. If the problem persists, refresh the page and contact CIT with the page name. Extensionless routes such as /services, /videos and /payment-info should be used.

Try Ctrl+F5 (hard refresh) or a private/incognito window first. If the problem remains, confirm the site can load files under /assets and that the APP_URL matches the deployment URL. The platform uses versioned asset URLs to reduce stale browser caching.

Check the allowed file type and maximum size shown beside the upload field. Internship payment proofs allow JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP or PDF up to 5 MB. Profile photos are optional later from My Profile and are not required during internship application.

Some pages contain private information and require an active session. Sign in first. If you were already signed in, your session may have expired; sign in again.

Current Trainees is intentionally restricted to authenticated users because it contains trainee information. Sign in with an active account to access it.

Staff help

Authorized staff open Applications, review the protected payment proof and account snapshot, then choose Verify Payment or Reject Proof with a reason. An application requiring payment cannot be approved until its payment is Verified.

Authorized staff open Applications, confirm that required payment is Verified, then set the application decision to Approved. The system blocks approval when a required payment has not been verified.

Admin, Software Developer and Employee accounts can open Company Updates from the dashboard. Add a title and update text, optionally add an image and clickable HTTP/HTTPS link, choose publication/expiry times, then publish. Employee accounts can manage their own updates while Admin/Software Developer can manage all updates.

Authorized staff open Payment Methods, enter the account name/identifier and instructions, then Save & Activate the selected method. Activating one method deactivates the others so applicants see one current destination.

Authorized staff set Application Fee and Tuition Fee on each internship/service type. Those values are displayed to students when they choose the corresponding internship field.

The Applications page supports combined filters for application status, payment status, applied-from date, applied-to date and active/archived state.

Authorized staff can manage internship applications, users according to their permissions, services/training areas, payment methods and fees, announcements, jobs, videos, positions/branding, completion records and certificates. Sensitive system accounts remain protected from inappropriate modification.

Privacy & security

The platform uses scoped encrypted public identifiers so sequential database IDs are not exposed in URLs/forms. Database primary keys remain unchanged internally.

No. Account passwords are stored using secure password hashing. Password reset stores only a hash of the one-time reset token.

Application details are intended for the applicant and authorized CIT staff who need them to process the internship. Private files such as payment proofs use permission-controlled access.
